RECENT COMMERCIAL WORK

Olson Funeral HomE - Life Advice

“The kids are taller than you remember…”

I actually sought Olson’s out because it felt difficult. I wanted to see if a funeral home could deliver something more than information. Something human. Something meaningful. Something that didn’t just explain a service, but left you feeling something.

Village of Machesney Park

A VILLAGE THAT WELCOMES THOSE WITH GOOD TASTE.

The Village of Machesney park came to me seeking a solution for their “Destination Machesney” that would be broad enough to cover tourism, economic development, and overall image.  I developed a strategy, tag line, location scouted, wrote the script, filmed, and edited both commercials.

The concept sought to distinguish itself from traditional tourism work by incorporating some moments that engage with the camera, have solid backgrounds, and unique shots.

After watching the second commercial, the client raised his hands in the air and said “HOMERUN!”

“Donut forget Machesney”

“Come with no reservations”

The girl in the denim jacket was scouted as a receptionist at the speech therapy clinic where I take my nephew.

Rockford Symphony Orchestra

I developed a concept to engage a younger demographic with the symphony.

Go Rockford
MADE FOR ROCKFORD

A long relationship is its own kind of credential.

This work pulls from more than 15 years with Go Rockford, spanning sponsored storytelling through Our City, Our Story, behind-the-scenes IRONMAN promotion that had to stay quiet, national media requests, and a range of other assignments over the years.

These three montages are part of a six-video collection made to help Whitney Martin attract talent by giving people something more honest than a brochure version of a city.

This FIRST montage showcases the diverse culture of Rockford, significantly different from when I first started filming with them 15 years ago.

This montage showcases some of the fantastic recreation Rockford has to offer.

The art scene here is thriving.
